Introduction[]
You have been assigned this role. Perhaps there is a theme for thie evening, or perhaps you can define your own theme.
Look for topics on this theme, there are some lists online. Create ten or more topics.
Test them on someone, to see if the questions are clear and open (cannot be answered by a yes or no).
Before the meeting[]
Create a list of attendees (members and if possible guests). Discount the members who have roles or are giving speeches or evaluations.
List the questions in order with the name of the person you will ask to respond. First one or two experienced members, then less experienced, then guests. Do not show this list to anyone.
During the meeting[]
When your role comes up, the TME should introduce you (one minute). Then you can introduce your theme and explain how the responses will be evaluated or judged, if this is appropriate. Announce if there will be any prize-giving, like "Best Table Topic Response".
State the timing rules, if this has not already been done.
DO NOT mention the name of the chosen responder, State the Table Topic, twice, in exactly the same words. Explain any unknown or unusual terms, but DO NOT explain any topic - the responders may interpret it as they wish. Wait until all listening have understood it, then choose the responder.
After the meeting[]
The General Evaluator may review your session, or you can ask the VPE. Give the list of topics and responders to the meeting reporter, if there is one. Ensure you have credit for the task
